Emily Hu, M.S., is a biomedical engineer from Duke University who manages clinical trials for medical device companies in Silicon Valley. She is also a nationally ranked professional powerlifter, where she competes in the 56kg weight class. She's held 3 all time world records in women's powerlifting, 2 in the bench press for the 52kg and 56kg weight classes (which she still currently maintains), and 1 in the total in the 56kg weight class. When she is not making medical devices or lifting, Emily likes to travel and eat dessert.
