Breaking: CrossFit Announces Semifinal Tests For All Online Events
On Friday night, CrossFit released all Semifinal events via email for the online Semifinal events coming up next week.
Remind me: This year, all online Semifinal events will utilize the same programming across the board.
- The three online Semifinal events taking place June 11-13 will be:
- The Brazilian CrossFit Championship
- The Lowlands Throwdown
- The German Throwdown
- The two online Semifinal events taking place June 18th-20th will be:
- The Atlas Games
- The Asia Invitational
One big thing: The synchronization of programming across the five online Semifinals will be a great opportunity to compare athletes across a wide range of tests, similar to Regionals before 2019.
- While other Semifinal events have varied their programming, making it difficult to compare some of the top athletes in this phase of competition, the online events will allow us to compare elite athletes across multiple continents.
- Some notable names competing in online qualifiers include, Brent Fikowski competing in the Atlas Games, Kristin Holte and Katrin Davidsdottir competing in the German throwdown, Laura Horvath and Emma McQuaid competing in the Lowlands Throwdown.
