Coaches: How Do You Tell a Client “No”?
Telling someone “no”, especially if they are a paying client, is never easy. Coaches face this necessary aspect daily in the gym setting to ensure their athletes are both meeting their goals and performing movements safely. But for most coaches, knowing you are doing right by your athlete doesn’t make this boundary-setting talk any less difficult.
Jump into this conversation with two, Invictus Master Coaches about why you might need to tell an athlete “no” and how to go about the conversation, starting with building trust and rapport and finishing with them reaching their goal!
This conversation is one example of many sub-topics of “coaching beyond the whiteboard” that are covered in the Invictus University Online Coaches Course. As a course participant, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of these conversations with Invictus Master Coaches and others in your class. You will also be encouraged to bring your own talks to the table for discussion with the cohort.
The next Invictus University Online Coaches Course begins May 1st and there are only a few spots remaining before we close registration. Enroll now to up your group coaching game!
