Many fans considered the 2022 Figure Olympia to be a formal coronation for Cydney Gillon, who sought a sixth title. However, pre-judging made it appear like a closer contest. Gillon still stood on center stage at the Venetian, but she was joined by three contenders: Jossie Nathali Alarcon Becerra, Jessica Reyes Padilla, and Lola Montez.
Those four were the top contenders going into the finals, which took place at the Zappos Theater in Las Vegas, NV. They resumed their competition in the finals, and head judge Sandy Williamson led the other judges in determining the 2022 world champion of Figure. Here are the results and the respective prize money won:

- Jessica Reyes Padilla — $20,000
- Lola Montez — $12,000
