Thanks to 2021 Olympia 212 Champion Derek Lunsford moving up to the Open, we were guaranteed a new 212 Olympia champion in 2022. Twenty-five athletes faced the judges at the Venetian in Las Vegas, NV, with hopes of being in the final callout of the opening round of this prestigious contest.
Among those men were 2020 winner Shaun Clarida and 2019 champion Kamal Elgargni. The popular Eduardo Correa also made his return to the Olympia stage after five years out of the sport.
After introductions were made, the posing comparisons began, and the crowd all had their favorites. The pressure was now on the judges to determine the best 212 competitor in the world.
