A Look Back at Olga Liashchuk’s 2022 World’s Strongest Woman Victory

The Ukrainian beat runner-up Andrea Thompson by four points.

The 2022 World’s Strongest Woman (WSW) contest took place over two days from Nov. 12-13, 2022, in Daytona Beach, FL. After seven events — Viking Press, Farmer’s Walk, Deadlift, Sandbag to Shoulder, Car Walk, Dumbbell Medley, and Atlas StonesOlga Liashchuk of Ukraine rose above the field to take home the 2022 WSW title.

Liashchuk won three of the seven events — Sandbag to Shoulder, Car Walk, Atlas Stones — en route to her contest victory. It was a one-rank improvement from her runner-up performance at the 2021 WSW contest.
