William Relf Triumphant at 2023 Britain’s Strongest Man U105KG

Relf scored 50.5 of 60 possible points for gold.

The 2023 Britain’s Strongest Man U105KG contest occurred on Sept. 10, 2023, in Bexleyheath, UK. Twelve of the UK’s top strongmen contended through five events during the single-day contest: Max Deadlift, Press Medley, Farmer’s Walk Medley, Fixed Tire Flip for Reps, and Atlas Stones.

William Relf emerged victorious when all was said and done, standing atop the podium with 50.5 of a possible 60 points. Scott McGowan claimed the silver medal 4.5 points behind Relf, and Boyd Francis rounded out the podium.

Below are the results for each of the five contested events in Bexleyheath:

Max Deadlift

Athletes lifted in rounds with weights of 300, 320, 340, 345, 350, 355, 360, 365, and 370 kilograms.

  2. Matthew Williams — 355 kilograms
  3. William Relf — 350 kilograms (T-third)
  4. Jordan Rea — 350 kilograms (T-third)
  5. Scott McGowan — 340 kilograms (T-fifth)

Press Medley

The Press Medley was for time with four implements weighing 120, 130, 140, and 90 kilograms.

Farmer’s Walk Medley

This event featured two 20-kilometer runs; one with a 150-kilogram farmer’s walk, the other with 200 kilograms.
