Men’s Physique Winner — Corey Morris
This was Morris’ third pro win of 2023. Since he was already qualified for the Olympia, no qualification was awarded in this division. During the onstage interview with announcer Bob Cicherillo, Erin Banks came to the stage to speak about Morris and their upcoming matchup at the 2023 Olympia.
The Olympia champion informed the crowd that he and Morris have the same coach, and he was proud of Morris’ win. However, to dethrone Banks at the Olympia, Morris will need to bring a flawless physique for the judges.
Second Place — Ryan Terry
Even with Morris in the lineup, Terry was considered the favorite going into the contest as a past Arnold Classic winner (2017) and the 2016 Olympia runner-up. However, the judges gave Morris the nod with straight first-place votes. Terry has acknowledged he made mistakes in his prep and would adjust accordingly going into his next contest, the New York Pro.
Third Place — Benquil Marigny
Marigny was coming off a win at the 2023 1st Phorm St. Louis Pro but faced more top-tier contenders with more experience in this lineup. This was his fourth show of 2023, and he’s placed in the top three of all of them.
Other Notes
The Pittsburgh Pro has a tradition of featuring some of the Mr. Olympia contenders in a guest posing exhibition, and the 2023 edition had an all-star roster of bodybuilders. Two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, two-time Olympia 212 champion Shaun Clarida, 2022 Mr. Olympia runner-up Derek Lunsford, 2023 Arnold Classic winner Samson Dauda, 2021 Arnold Classic champ Nick Walker, and 2021 Chicago Pro winner Hunter Labrada, all graced the stage and joined the fans in an impromptu posedown.
Those Men’s Open competitors were also joined by new IFBB Pro Mike Hulusi, who was introduced to the crowd by Australian promoter Tony Doherty. Hulusi will make his pro debut at the 2023 New York Pro on Saturday, May 20.

In the Bikini division, Aimee Leann Delgado may have scored the biggest upset of the weekend. It was a major victory in her career, defeating three-time Bikini Olympia winner Ashley Kaltwasser to earn the Pittsburgh Pro title. This was Delgado’s third win of the season, and she intends to enter the New York Pro next. Like Morris in Men’s Physique, Delgado’s win kept another contender from qualifying for the Olympia.
Wellness winner Gisele Machado surprised the audience with a first-place finish over 2023 Wellness International champion Kassandra Gillis. Gillis won her previous two contests before placing second in the Steel City.
