North America East
North America East is home to CrossFit Mayhem, one of the most decorated teams in the CrossFit Affiliate Cup competition. It also happens to feature some of the most competitive affiliate and super teams in the world, and they’re all ready to throw down at Semis.

Stories To Watch
Mayhem stages a comeback: Last year, CrossFit Mayhem Independence finished seventh overall at the Games. This was the affiliate’s lowest finish since their dominant reign came to an end following their 2022 championship season when team captain Rich Froning retired.
They’re back in 2024 with another year of experience under their belt and one addition to their roster.
- Molly McGrandy is the only addition to the team. She replaces Kyra Milligan, who just qualified for the Games as an individual last week at North America West. Angelo DiCicco, Zoe Jones, and Sam DeMeester, the team’s other members from 2023, will return.
The four have an impressive legacy to live up to after Mayhem’s five victories in the team division between 2015 and 2022.
- However, they’re seeded third overall coming out of Quarterfinals, and if history is any guide, Mayhem traditionally does exceptionally well during in-person competitions.
Moreover, Mayhem also has several banner teams representing the name this weekend at North America East, including two from Canada: CrossFit Somos Mayhem and CrossFit Levis Mayhem.
Peak 360 builds a super team: Ten-time individual Games athlete Noah Ohlsen will be joined by veteran team Games athlete Tola Morakinyo this weekend at North America East. The two men make up half of Team Peak 360.

- The team paired up following Morakinyo’s second-place finish with CrossFit East Nashville PRVN last year. That super team consisted of Morakinyo and Tim Paulson, as well as former Mayhem superstars Andrea Nisler and Taylor Williamson.
This year, Ohlsen and Morakinyo joined forces with former CrossFit Oslo Navy Blue team member Lena Richter and individual Norwegian Games athlete Matilde Garnes.
- With an extensive resume of individual and team Games experience, Peak 360 is a team to watch this weekend and as we head into the Games.
South America
With only two spots up for grabs, competition in South America will be fierce as always.

- 2. Vittoria CrossFit Centr1 Movimento | Vitorria CrossFit | Brazil
- 3. Vittoria CrossFit Centr1 Forca | Vitorria CrossFit | Brazil
Stories to Watch
Vittoria CrossFit’s (internal) battle: With only two spots up for grabs and two teams representing Vittoria CrossFit both currently seeded in the top three, it will be a true test amongst affiliate members to see who in their affiliate is the fittest.
- Both teams will also have to fight against AR-1 CrossFit Mayhem Unity representing Argentina. AR-1 CrossFit Mayhem Unity finished every event during Quarterfinals inside the top two, taking home two event wins.
However, as we’ve learned from the last two weeks of competition, nothing is guaranteed when teams step out onto the competition floor.
- Beyond their two teams in the top three, Vittoria CrossFit also has two additional teams representing them at Semifinals this year.

Q21 CrossFit is game for a fight: With only two spots available and their current seeding in fourth place overall, three points behind the two teams tied for second, Q21 will need to give it their all this weekend if they hope to make it back to the Games.
- Last year, the Argentinian team placed 35th at the CrossFit Games after finishing second behind Templo Sa CrossFit in the South American Semifinals.
This year, Templo Sa CrossFit heads into Semifinals seeded sixth overall. If they want to make it back again, they will need to fight to earn themselves a spot in the top two by the end of the weekend.
Africa
With just a single Games spot up for grabs, the teams in Africa need to push themselves to stand on top of the podium by the end of the weekend if they want a spot in Texas this summer.

- 2. CrossFit Humble Hungry Driven Team Quest Tigerfit | CrossFit Humble Hungry Driven | South Africa

Stories to Watch
Last year, the African region saw two of the top three teams disqualified for drug test violations. That included the first-place team, allowing the second-place team, Cape CrossFit Wolfpack, to be backfilled into the Games.
- This year, neither team sits in the top five coming out of Quarterfinals.
- Instead, CrossFit Tijger Valley Relentless dominated, winning two of the four workouts and separating themselves by seven points from the rest of the field.
