Philippe Degila Wins 2024 Eurasia Championships Pro Men’s Physique Show

Degila bested 12 other bodybuilders to ascend the podium.

Philippe Degila is the 2024 Eurasia Championships Pro winner. The IFBB Pro League Men’s Physique show occurred on Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The stage held 13 competitors vying for a 2024 Olympia qualification.

Degila found success and earned that qualification in addition to his pro show victory. He can compete at the 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia, part of the 2024 Olympia in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 10-13, 2024.

2024 Eurasia Championships Pro Results

Silver went to Anik Ghosh, and Yeldos Kozybayev settled for bronze. The full results are below:

Winner — Philippe Degila

Degila’s third pro show of 2024 was the charm. He ranked sixth at the 2024 Wasatch Warrior Pro and second at the Los Angeles Grand Prix.

This is Degila’s first pro win and Olympia qualification, both coming in his fifth pro season. In the pre-judging round, the judges gave Degila a perfect score.

Second Place — Anik Ghosh

Ghosh improved one rank from his third-place finish at the 2024 Sheru Classic Pro on June 8-9, 2024. The second-year pro has until Sept. 15, 2024, to win a show to qualify for the 2024 Olympia. This was his first runner-up finish since turning pro in 2023.

Third Place — Yeldos Kozybayev 

Kozybayev’s finish is impressive, given that it was his IFBB Pro League debut. He was the highest-finishing athlete representing the host country, one point ahead of fourth-place finisher Furkan Er on the scorecards.

Other Notes

Wil Harris won the St. Pete Pro, the other pro Men’s Physique pro show this weekend in St. Petersburg, FL.
