2024 Magnús Ver Magnússon Strongman Classic Results

Mateusz Kieliszkowski claims the throne!

The 2024 Magnús Ver Magnússon Strongman Classic (MVMSC) occurred in Iceland from Nov. 22-24, 2024, and it was a showcase for Poland’s Mateusz Kieliszkowski. He scored 111.5 of a possible 135 points to claim the championship — his first elite international contest victory since the 2019 World’s Ultimate Strongman (WUS) Dubai contest.

The nine events featured in Iceland were the following:

  • Rock Press
  • Hercules Hold
  • Húsafell Stone
  • Carry Medley
  • Sandbag Toss
  • Natural Stones
  • Vertical Lift
  • Silver Dollar Deadlift
  • Log Medley

The contest was a two-athlete race toward the end as Tristain Hoath of Canada finished in second overall with 107 points. Andrew Burton of the USA edged out Wesley Derwinsky of Canada by a half point.
