The 2024 Paris Olympic Games are scheduled for July 26 through August 11, 2024, in Paris, France, and will feature an athlete quota of 10,500 of the world’s best. The stadiums holding athletic contests include Stade de France, Jardins du Trocadéro, and River Seine.
On Jan. 20, 2023, the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) released a leaderboard for Olympic Games qualifications. The leaderboard boasts the highest-scoring athlete from each National Olympic Committee (NOC) in each bodyweight category. The leaderboard will be updated following each qualification event.
Per the IWF leaderboard, “the highest Total achieved by each athlete at qualification events will be counted towards their overall ranking. In the circumstance that two, or more, athletes record the same Total in the same Olympic bodyweight category, they shall be ranked in order of which achieved the result first, using equivalent Greenwich Mean Times (GMT) to decide such if necessary.”
