2024 SCL World Record Breakers Results — Aivars Šmaukstelis Atop the Podium

Get the results of the two-day event that went down in Finland.

The 2024 Strongman Champions League (SCL) World Record Breakers contest occurred in Finland on June 29-30. Twelve of the globe’s elite strongmen competed in seven events: Truck Pull, Front Hold, Frame Carry, Tractor Pull, Shield Carry, Sandbag Toss, and Loading Race.

Aivars Šmaukstelis emerged as the overall champion with 72 points of a possible 84 points. He won two of seven events and finished outside the top three only once — an eighth-place finish in the Frame Carry. Check out the full results below:

  3. Evans Nana Aryee (GHA) — 59 points
  4. Jesse Pynnönen (FIN) — 57 points

Truck Pull

With a 26,000-kilogram truck in tow, each strongman traversed a 20-meter course in the fastest time possible.

Front Hold

Strongmen established their max times with a 25-kilogram implement.

Frame Carry

Racing down a 25-meter course as fast as possible, each strongman carried 360 kilograms.

  4. Brian Kichton — 19.25 meters
  5. Jakub Szczechowski — 10.35 meters

Tractor Pull

Each strongman attempted to pull the 18,000-kilogram tractor down the 20-meter course as quickly as possible.

With a 160-kilogram shield in their arms, each strongman traversed the 40-meter course with 60 seconds on the clock to establish their farthest distance.

Sandbag Toss

Each strongman was tasked with tossing six implements weighing 22 to 35 kilograms over a 4.3-meter bar.

Loading Race

Each strongman had four implements to load within the 60-second time cap.
