2024 U90 World’s Strongest Man Results

The 2024 Official Strongman Games occurred in Madison, WI, on Dec. 6-8, 2024. The competition featured weight class contests for male and female athletes, including the 2024 Under 90 Kilograms (U90) World Strongest Man (WSM) comprising seven events: Log Lift, Car Walk, Deadlift, Carry & Push Medley, Sandbag Toss, Wrecking Ball Hold, and Atlas Stones.

Ten athletes representing five countries clashed for the title. Ultimately, none could best Filip Zajíček of the Czech Republic, who claimed his first U90 WSM title, jumping from 10th place at the 2023 U90 WSM. His triumph was convincing, with a 10.5-point buffer on the podium.

  1. Filip Zajíček (CZE) — 53.5 points
  2. Andrew Hanus (USA) — 43 points
  3. Tyler Davis (USA) — 41 points
  4. Jake Allen (UK) — 40.5 points
  5. Viktor Lingman (SWE) — 39 points
  6. John Haack (USA) — 35.5 points
  7. Dan Benson (UK) — 35 points
  8. Nicholas O’Hare (USA) — 34 points
  9. Joni Rautiainen (FIN) — 33 points
  10. Cameron Hutchison (USA) — 30.5 points

2024 U90 World’s Strongest Man Event Results

Below are the results for each of the seven contested events in Madison:

Log Lift

With one minute on the clock, athletes lifted 141 kilograms for reps.

  1. Viktor Lingman — Six reps
  2. Andrew Hanus — Five reps
  3. Filip Zajíček — Three reps (T-third)
  4. Jake Allen — Three reps (T-third)
  5. Joni Rautiainen — Three reps (T-third)
  6. Cameron Hutchison — Three reps (T-third)
  7. Dan Benson — Two reps (T-seventh)
  8. Tyler Davis — Two reps (T-seventh)
  9. John Haack — One rep (T-ninth)
  10. Nicholas O’Hare — One rep (T-ninth)

Car Walk

Each strongman had one minute to traverse the 363-kilogram apparatus down the 15-meter course as fast as possible.

  1. Filip Zajíček — 9.01 seconds
  2. Cameron Hutchison — 10.16 seconds
  3. Viktor Lingman — 10.67 seconds
  4. Tyler Davis — 12.75 seconds
  5. Dan Benson — 12.76 seconds
  6. Andrew Hanus — 13.05 seconds
  7. Jake Allen — 13.06 seconds
  8. Nicholas O’Hare — 13.33 seconds
  9. John Haack — 18.36 seconds
  10. Joni Rautiainen — 21.4 seconds

Deadlift

With one minute on the clock, athletes could lift 270 or 318 kilograms on an axle bar for reps. A single rep at the heavier weight outranked any number of reps at the lower weight.

  1. John Haack — Nine reps, 318 kilograms
  2. Nicholas O’Hare — Six reps, 318 kilograms (T-second)
  3. Dan Benson — Six reps, 318 kilograms (T-second)
  4. Tyler Davis — Four reps, 318 kilograms (T-fourth)
  5. Joni Rautiainen — Four reps, 318 kilograms (T-fourth)
  6. Jake Allen — Three reps, 318 kilograms
  7. Filip Zajíček — Two reps, 318 kilograms (T-seventh)
  8. Viktor Lingman — Two reps, 318 kilograms (T-seventh)
  9. Cameron Hutchison — Two reps, 318 kilograms (T-seventh)
  10. Andrew Hanus — Seven reps, 270 kilograms

Carry & Push Medley

Athletes were allotted one minute to carry a 125-kilogram sandbag and a 136-kilogram sandbag and push a sled 15 meters each, totaling the 45-meter course as quickly as possible.

  1. John Haack — 31.95 seconds
  2. Andrew Hanus — 32.17 seconds
  3. Joni Rautiainen — 33.4 seconds
  4. Filip Zajíček — 33.64 seconds
  5. Nicholas O’Hare — 33.69 seconds
  6. Jake Allen — 33.97 seconds
  7. Tyler Davis — 34.27 seconds
  8. Cameron Hutchison — 36.25 seconds
  9. Dan Benson — 39.17 seconds
  10. Viktor Lingman — 40.44 seconds

Sandbag Toss

With only 45 seconds each, athletes tossed six implements weighing 16 to 22 kilograms over a 4.6-meter bar as fast as possible.

  1. Andrew Hanus — Six in 20.96 seconds
  2. Filip Zajíček — Six in 35.8 seconds
  3. Tyler Davis — Five in 15.1 seconds
  4. John Haack — Five in 16.55 seconds
  5. Jake Allen — Five in 17.5 seconds
  6. Nicholas O’Hare — Five in 17.72 seconds
  7. Dan Benson — Five in 22.54 seconds
  8. Cameron Hutchison — Five in 25.38 seconds
  9. Viktor Lingman — Four in 12.69 seconds
  10. Joni Rautiainen — Four in 15.75 seconds

Wrecking Ball Hold

Athletes held a 250-kilogram wrecking ball in a sumo hold for as long as possible.

  1. Dan Benson — 184.59 seconds
  2. Filip Zajíček — 144.06 seconds
  3. Viktor Lingman — 135.52 seconds
  4. Joni Rautiainen — 114.38 seconds
  5. Jake Allen — 112.06 seconds
  6. Nicholas O’Hare — 104.41 seconds

  8. Andrew Hanus — 94.64 seconds
  9. Tyler Davis — 73 seconds
  10. John Haack — 67.75 seconds

Atlas Stones

Athletes had one minute to load the six stones weighing 113 to 170 kilograms as fast as possible.

  1. Tyler Davis — Six in 36.24 seconds

  3. Jake Allen — Six in 38.76 seconds
  4. Viktor Lingman — Six in 44.04 seconds
