Athletes to Watch
Three Olympia-caliber athletes, including the 2024 Alina Popa Classic Pro champion, will be the top contenders in this contest.
Alida Opre
Alida Opre seeks to defend her title and return to the Olympia stage. She is coming off the 2025 Masters Olympia, where she ranked fifth.
Opre’s Olympia debut came in 2024, when she ranked 11th. Her frame has more muscle than it did one year ago, making her the front-runner to beat this year.
Nadia Capotosto
2025 Toronto Pro Supershow winner Nadia Capotosto is already qualified for the 2025 Olympia. She stands out as a significant hurdle others must overcome to take gold in this contest. Capotosto finished fifth in the 2024 Olympia.
Alcione Santos Barreto
Alcione Santos Barreto is set for the Ms. Olympia contest thanks to her victory in the 2025 Mr. Big Evolution Pro. Neither her nor Capotosto’s qualifications are at risk in this contest. Even if they lose, they will remain eligible for the Olympia. Barreto ranked 14th at the 2024 Olympia.
