2025 Beast of the East Strongman Results

Justin Legere triumphs in Canada!

The 2025 Beast of the East contest occurred in Fredericton, Canada, on June 7, 2025. Ten strongmen, two representing the USA and the rest representing the host country, battled through five events: Arm-Over-Arm Pull, Axle Press, Max Deadlift, Sandbag Toss, and Conan’s Wheel.

Justin Legere of the USA triumphed with 41.5 of a possible 50 points, 1.5 points more than runner-up Wesley Derwinsky. Maxime Boudreault rounded out the podium with 31.5 points, 1.5 more than the other American in the field, Shawn Schellenger.

Axle Press

Athletes could attempt any number of reps with 147, 166, or 184 kilograms. Any rep of a higher weight outranked any number of reps from a lower weight.
