115 IFBB Pro League athletes competed at the 2025 Empro Pro in Alicante, Spain, on June 14-15. This show, led by promoter Emilio Martinez, hosted nine divisions in contests that served as 2025 Olympia Weekend qualifiers. The winners of each show would be eligible to compete for their divisions at the Olympia in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 9-12. If the winner had already qualified, then no other qualification was awarded.

Men’s Open Winner — Sasan Heirati

Heirati fought for his Olympia qualification all season before winning the 2025 Toronto Pro Supershow. His win here prevented other athletes from qualifying.

This is Heirati’s second consecutive pro win. After pre-judging, he and runner-up Angel Calderon Frias were separated by one point, but Heirati clinched the final victory.

Classic Physique Winner — Mustafa Yildiz

Mustafa Yildiz and German Pastor previously qualified for the 2025 Classic Physique Olympia before this event, making this a bragging rights matchup. Yildiz took gold this time around. Despite finishing second, Pastor’s Olympia qualification was unaffected.

Men’s Physique Winner — Mauro Fialho

Mauro Fialho was the lone male champion from the host country, winning the Men’s Physique championship with a perfect score to secure his spot on the Olympia stage in Las Vegas.

Men’s Wheelchair Winner — Gabriele Andruilli

Former Arnold Classic Pro Wheelchair winner Gabriele Andriulli went into the Men’s Wheelchair event as the favorite, and he left with gold over three opponents. Andruilli had led the Olympia Qualifying Points standings, which remains for this category. He is now off that list with his Wheelchair Olympia qualification secured thanks to his win.

Women’s Bodybuilding Winner — Martina Lopez

Martina Lopez is the eighth woman to qualify for the 2025 Ms. Olympia after her victory in Alicante. This was a significant win after she finished second in this contest one year ago.

Figure Winner — Denise Zwinger-Tynek

Germany claimed the top two spots in the Figure division show: Denise Zwinger-Tynek held off Vanessa Happle to earn her first pro win and Olympia qualification. Zwinger-Tynek ranked fifth in this contest in 2024; her pro debut.

Bikini Winner — Ivi Escandar

There were 16 athletes in the Bikini division show. Ivi Escandar held center stage at the end of the event. She and runner-up Lisa Reith were qualified for the 2025 Bikini Olympia before this contest.

Third-place finisher Gulash Gorgulu and the rest of the field have until Sept. 14, 2025, to win a pro show to punch their tickets to Las Vegas.

Women’s Physique Winner — Birgit Andersch

Birgit Andersch was on the Masters Olympia stage in 2023, but this is her first pro win and Women’s Physique Olympia qualification. The judges gave her a perfect score, and fans in attendance reported this was her best package since joining the pro ranks in 2022.

Wellness Winner — Danai Theodoropoulou

Danai Theodoropoulou was the runner-up in the 2024 Empro Pro Wellness show, but took the final step to the top in 2025. She can compete at the Wellness Olympia for the third consecutive year.
