2025 Olympia to Be Held in Las Vegas, NV, October 9-12

The premier bodybuilding show returns to Sin City.

The 2025 Olympia Weekend will return to Resorts World in Las Vegas, NV, from Oct. 9-12. This is the same site that held the historic 60th edition of the Mr. Olympia contest in 2024.

The date and location were confirmed on the Olympia Weekend website’s heading. Still, Olympia president Dan Solomon confirmed the news to Terrick El Guindy of Olympia TV on Feb. 6, 2025:

We’re returning to Resorts World, a tremendous home for the Olympia.

Solomon confirmed that the 2025 Olympia Expo will again be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Pre-judging for nine pro divisions is scheduled at the Olympia Expo.

The Wheelchair Olympia has traditionally hosted both rounds of its contest in the same venue. At the time of this article’s publication, it remains unconfirmed if that will happen again in 2025. Details of a pay-per-view or livestream were not shared.

This is the first time the Olympia will occur in the exact location for consecutive years since the 2020 and 2021 editions were held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. Orlando also hosted the Olympia in 2023.

Before that, Vegas was the Olympia’s home Olympia from 1999 until 2019. Las Vegas hosted the 2022 and 2024 editions as well.

The 2024 Olympia was considered one of the most successful in recent memory by many bodybuilding fans and experts. Highlights included Samson Dauda becoming the 19th Mr. Olympia champion, Chris Bumstead clinching his sixth and final Classic Physique Olympia before retiring onstage, and eight-time Figure Olympia champion Cydney Gillon curtain-calling her pro career after her eighth consecutive win on the big stage.

Since the middle of September 2024, all 11 IFBB Professional League divisions have held contests and had athletes qualify for the 2025 Olympia Weekend. The 2025 schedule will begin on the weekend of Feb. 22 with the Musclecontest Japan Pro.

The 2025 Olympia qualifying season will continue until Sept. 14, 2025, when all 11 Olympia lineups will be official.
