2022 Pittsburgh Pro Bodybuilding Show Results

The show features six divisions, all vying for an Olympia spot.

In bodybuilding, the Men’s Open division has traditionally been the draw. The big show. And yet, the Pittsburgh Pro — established by promotor NPC (National Physique Committee) President Jim Manion in (at least) 2012 —  has established a prestigious reputation as an Olympia qualifier for other divisions.

This year, those divisions are: Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Figure, Bikini, Women’s Physique, and Wellness. The 2022 Pittsburgh Pro, held in Pittsburgh, PA, runs from May 6-7 and features both pro and amateur divisions. Winners of each pro division earn automatic qualification to the 2022 Olympia.

At the time this article was published, the first day of the competition has wrapped. Below is a list of who has won so far. BarBend will update this article when all results are in.

2022 Pittsburgh Pro Results

  • Classic Physique: Alexander Westermeier
  • Men’s Physique: Sadik Hadzovic
  • Figure: Shanice Abrams
  • Women’s Physique: Natalia Abraham Coelho
  • Bikini: Lauralie Chapados
  • Wellness: Sunny Andrews

Another highlight of the Pittsburgh Pro is the guest posing, which typically features the most notable Men’s Open competitors in the peak of their pre-Olympia bulks. Two-time Mr. O Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, 2019 Mr. O Brandon Curry, three-time Classic Physique Olympia winner Chris Bumstead, Nick Walker, and Hunter Labrada are all slated to pose down in the Steel City.

Notably, Janet Layug entered the Pittsburgh Pro after announcing that she would not participate in the 2021 Olympia. After a long-awaited return, Layug placed third behind veteran competitors Ashley Kaltwasser — who won the Bikini Olympia from 2013 through 2015 — and Lauralie Chapados.
