The 2022 Imatra Strongman Showdown occurred in Imatra, Finland, on Aug. 26-27, 2022. It featured a dozen elite strongmen competing in eight events across the two-day contest: Deadlift, Log Lift, Front Hold, Conan’s Wheel, Keg Toss, Loading Race, Farmer’s Walk, and Overhead Medley.
Sami Ahola rose to victory with 78 out of a possible 96 points. He edged out runner-up Jordan Osborne by two points and bronze medalist Nathan Goltry by five points. The podium finishers left the rest of the field behind as fourth-place finisher Mika Törrö was 15 points behind Goltry. Here are the final results:

Deadlift
Athletes had 60 seconds to lift as many deadlifts with a trap bar as possible. Those who chose heavier weights were ranked above those who chose lighter weights regardless of reps. At equivalent weight, reps were the deciding factor.
