2023 IWF World Weightlifting Championships Full Results

The first of two mandatory competitions before the Paris Olympics hosted some of the best lifting of the year.

The clock ticks down: The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France begin in less than a year. With such little time remaining in the quad, the best weightlifters in the world have converged upon Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the 2023 International Weightlifting Federation’s (IWF) World Weightlifting Championships (WWC).

The 2023 WWC is more than “just” another international weightlifting event. It’s the first of two mandatory competitions for Paris hopefuls who wish to make it to the most prestigious stage in sport.

This year’s Worlds, running from Sept. 4 to 17, will all but confirm who has the chops to make it to — and, perhaps, win — the next Olympics. In Riyadh, the only thing raised higher than the stakes were the barbells themselves.

Here are the full up-to-date results from every competitive division at the 2023 World Weightlifting Championships:
