2023 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Mitchell Hooper is on an absolute tear. The 28-year-old Canadian strongman sensation capped off a stellar year of competitive performances with a win at the 2023 Rogue Invitational Strongman competition, which ran on Oct. 28-29, 2023, at the Dell Diamond Stadium in Austin, TX.
Hooper maintained the precedent he set early in the year, dominating the competition in Texas. He never logged a result lower than fourth place over the course of the Invitational’s five events. He ranked as the runner-up in three of them.

Mitchell Hooper | 2023 Strongman Competitions
Hooper burst onto the scene in 2022 after he finished eighth in the WSM Final, his first-ever complete international competition. 2023 continued Hooper’s skyward trajectory — he logged the following results at major strongman competitions:

- 2023 Giants Live Strongman Classic: Third place
- 2023 Giants Live World Tour Finals: Third place
- 2023 World’s Strongest Man: First place
- 2023 Rogue Invitational: First place
Veteran competitor and two-time World’s Strongest Man Tom Stoltman (2021, 2022) gave Hooper a run for his money in Texas. However, when the dust had settled, the Canadian sensation claimed the top of the podium, bettering his third-place finish at the Invitational from last year as well.
