- Trinity Trails offers 40 miles of running or biking trails, 17 trailheads for picnics and rest stops, five boat launches for canoes, kayaks, and sculls, equestrian trails for horseback riding, a water-ski slalom course, and fishing in several spots.
Here are some activities you can check out along the Trinity Trails:

- Head to the trail to check out the Fort Worth Zoo, which opened in 1909 and houses over 7000 native and exotic animals.
- Just north of the Rock Bridge near the Chisholm Trail Parkway, you’ll find the Trailhead at Clearfork. The area boasts a farmer’s market and free yoga classes on Saturday mornings, and you can grab something to eat at the Press Cafe.
- Fort Worth Botanic Garden – the oldest botanic garden in Texas boasts 23 specialty gardens, including the Japanese Gardens, Rose Garden, and Cactus Garden.
- Gateway Park – Gateway Park is one of the largest urban parks in America at almost 1000 acres. Sporting facilities include soccer and baseball fields, a disc golf course, several mountain biking trails, and a kayak/canoe launch. Did you bring your furry friend out to check out the Games? They boast the Fort Woof Dog Park.
One Last Thing: Experience True Texas Culture

With the growth of the railroad came cowboys and outlaws who looked to get rich through the livestock trade.

- If you really want to experience history, see the cattle drive (157 E Exchange Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76164)
