2024 U82 World’s Strongest Woman Results

Nadia Stowers is now a three-time U82 World's Strongest Woman champion.

The 2024 Official Strongman Games occurred in Madison, WI, on Dec. 6-8, 2024. The competition featured weight class contests for male and female athletes, including the 2024 Under 82 Kilograms (U82) World Strongest Woman (WSW) comprising seven events: Log Lift, Car Walk, Deadlift, Carry & Push Medley, Sandbag Toss, Wrecking Ball Hold, and Atlas Stones.

The 2024 U82 WSW featured 10 competitors representing five countries. Nadia Stowers reclaimed the title she’d previously won twice (2021-22) to become a three-time U82 WSW champion by scoring 56 of a possible 70 points.

  1. Nadia Stowers (USA) — 56 points
  2. Sabrina Retzer (GER) — 54.5 points
  3. Claire Myler (UK) — 46 points
  4. Angéline Berva (FRA) — 44 points
  5. Chelsea Held (USA) — 39 points
  6. Josée De Lachevrotière (CAN) — 33.5 points
  7. Nichole Wight (AUS) — 32.5 points
  8. Lydia Wallace (USA) — 28.5 points
  9. Donna Mecoli (USA) — 27 points
  10. Sarah Hallifax (AUS) — 24 points

2024 U82 World’s Strongest Woman Event Results

Below are the results for each of the seven contested events in Madison:

Log Lift

With one minute on the clock, athletes could lift 84 or 95 kilograms for reps. A single rep at the heavier weight outranked any number of reps at the lower weight.

  1. Nadia Stowers — Five reps, 95 kilograms
  2. Angéline Berva — Two reps, 95 kilograms (T-second)
  3. Chelsea Held — Two reps, 95 kilograms (T-second)
  4. Sabrina Retzer — One rep, 95 kilograms
  5. Josée De Lachevrotière — Three reps, 84 kilograms
  6. Claire Myler — Two reps, 84 kilograms (T-sixth)
  7. Nichole Wight — Two reps, 84 kilograms (T-sixth)
  8. Donna Mecoli — Two reps, 84 kilograms (T-sixth)
  9. Lydia Wallace — One rep, 84 kilograms (T-ninth)
  10. Sarah Hallifax — One rep, 84 kilograms (T-ninth)

Car Walk

Each strongwoman had one minute to traverse the 295-kilogram apparatus down the 15-meter course as fast as possible.

  1. Lydia Wallace — 17.87 seconds
  2. Claire Myler — 21.99 seconds
  3. Nichole Wight — 25.5 seconds
  4. Chelsea Held — 32.9 seconds
  5. Nadia Stowers — 34.21 seconds
  6. Sabrina Retzer — 47.66 seconds
  7. Donna Mecoli — 10.67 meters
  8. Sarah Hallifax — 9.5 meters
  9. Josée De Lachevrotière — 9.17 meters
  10. Angéline Berva — 8.31 meters

Deadlift

With one minute on the clock, athletes could lift 197 or 237 kilograms on an axle bar for reps. A single rep at the heavier weight outranked any number of reps at the lower weight.

  1. Nadia Stowers — Seven reps, 231 kilograms
  2. Claire Myler — Five reps, 231 kilograms
  3. Sabrina Retzer — Three reps, 231 kilograms (T-third)
  4. Josée De Lachevrotière — Three reps, 231 kilograms (T-third)
  5. Angéline Berva — Two reps, 231 kilograms (T-fifth)
  6. Nichole Wight — Two reps, 231 kilograms (T-fifth)
  7. Chelsea Held — One rep, 231 kilograms (T-seventh)
  8. Sarah Hallifax — One rep, 231 kilograms (T-seventh)
  9. Lydia Wallace — Three reps, 197 kilograms
  10. Donna Mecoli — One rep, 197 kilograms

Carry & Push Medley

Athletes were allotted one minute to carry a 90-kilogram sandbag and a 102-kilogram sandbag and push a sled 15 meters each, totaling the 45-meter course as quickly as possible.

  1. Sabrina Retzer — 41.03 seconds
  2. Claire Myler — 41.56 seconds
  3. Donna Mecoli — 42.15 seconds
  4. Angéline Berva — 42.34 seconds
  5. Sarah Hallifax — 46.79 seconds
  6. Lydia Wallace — 49.13 seconds
  7. Josée De Lachevrotière — 49.81 seconds
  8. Chelsea Held — 58.88 seconds
  9. Nadia Stowers — 31.29 meters
  10. Nichole Wight — 15.24 meters

Sandbag Toss

With only 45 seconds each, athletes tossed six implements weighing 11 to 18 kilograms over a four-meter bar as fast as possible.

  1. Nadia Stowers — Six in 31.18 seconds
  2. Chelsea Held — Five in 24.1 seconds
  3. Josée De Lachevrotière — Five in 28.65 seconds
  4. Sabrina Retzer — Five in 30.59 seconds
  5. Angéline Berva — Five in 31.17 seconds
  6. Claire Myler — Five in 33.47 seconds
  7. Lydia Wallace — Three in 16.27 seconds
  8. Sarah Hallifax — Three in 22.3 seconds
  9. Nichole Wight — Three in 29.36 seconds
  10. Donna Mecoli — Two in 31.44 seconds

Wrecking Ball Hold

Athletes held a 227-kilogram wrecking ball in a sumo hold for as long as possible.

  1. Sabrina Retzer — 138.45 seconds
  2. Angéline Berva — 130.07 seconds
  3. Nadia Stowers — 118.25 seconds
  4. Nichole Wight — 86.53 seconds
  5. Sarah Hallifax — 85.4 seconds

Atlas Stones

Athletes had one minute to load the six stones weighing 79 to 136 kilograms as fast as possible.
