Where to Work Out at 2025 TYR Wodapalooza Miami Beach

Break a sweat in Miami.

Nothing makes you want to work out more than watching some of the best in the world take to the competition floor and give it everything they have at TYR Wodapalooza Miami Beach. 

After all, who needs a rest day when the area is full of affiliates open for drop-ins? 

  • Here is a totally non-comprehensive list of places to get your fitness on while visiting Miami Beach.

In addition to regularly scheduled programming, many affiliates are offering special workouts with elite athletes and brand activations. Keep an eye on the Morning Chalk Up Instagram feed for more.

Downtown Strength and Conditioning

Downtown Strength and Conditioning offers every fitness option you could want: CrossFit, Hyrox, boot camp, HIIT, strength training, and Olympic weightlifting. 

  • In addition to a wide array of classes, the building has everything you could ever need, including showers, air conditioning, changing rooms, and the newest equipment.

The gym is offering special TYR WZA one-day ($35) and three-day ($105) passes and is hosting tons of events and workouts. 

There is an informal community EMOM on Saturday, January 25, at 6 a.m., presented by HWPO.

  • Come work out alongside the HWPO crew in a non-coached session EMOM to start your day. No registration is required.
  • HWPO is also hosting a free community run at 7 a.m. on Thursday, January 23. Just head to Muscle Beach, just south of the venue, to train with runners of all levels.

Thursday, January 23:

  • Rx Smartgear Class + Clinic – noon and 1 p.m.
  • LSKD & Friends Class Takeover – 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:45 p.m.

Friday, January 24: 

  • Brute Bash: Strength Workout and Meet & Greet will happen all morning, with heats starting at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m.
  • Rx Smartgear Class + Clinic – noon and 1 p.m.

Saturday, January 25:

  • Move Fast Live Heavy 5K Run with Chris Harris from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
  • Move Fast Live Heavy with Chris Harris 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

CrossFit Miami Beach 

Location: 930 Alton Rd, Miami Beach, FL, 33139

One of the closest affiliates to the venue, CrossFit Miami Beach, offers over 7,000 square feet (both indoor and outdoor) of training space. 

They offer CrossFit classes every day, including Sunday. 

  • Drop-ins are $35 for a one-day pass and $90 for three. 
  • In addition to a packed class schedule, CFMB will host multiple partnerships and activations all week. 

Check out their Instagram for the up-to-date schedule, and RSVP for classes on their website.

Class Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: Classes are held every hour from 6 a.m. – noon, then 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

If you prefer Open Gym, it is open Monday through Friday, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

CrossFit Yellow Falcon Miami 

Location: 1850 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL, 33136

The 2023 Miami New Times Reader’s Choice Best CrossFit Gym is an excellent option if you want to get some fitness in at TYR Wodapalooza Miami Beach. 

There is no need to make a reservation. Just head on in to join any of the CrossFit or Hyrox classes that are offered daily. 

The gym provides plenty of parking, as well as showers.

  • Open Gym: Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Regular class schedule.
  • There is a $35 drop-in fee per day or a $90 three-day package.

Move Fast Lift Heavy will host two workouts on Friday, 1/24:

  • 5k run at 4:30 p.m.
  • Workout at 6:15 p.m.

Fit 305 

Location: 5940 NE 4th Ave, Miami, FL, 33137

Class Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 6 a.m., 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 5 p.m. and  6 p.m. 
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Drop-ins are $25, and you can reserve yourself a spot here!

Invictus Miami

Join in on the fun and celebrate the grand opening of CrossFit Invictus Miami on Wednesday, January 22nd! 

  • Hang out with Invictus athletes while enjoying various food trucks.
  • Visit LSKD, NOCCO, and RX Smart Gear pop-ups–there will be giveaways!
  • David Newman of RX Smart Gear will be hosting a jump rope clinic at 5:15 p.m.

Invictus has even more planned, so be ready for some surprises. The event is open to all!

Peak 360 Miami 

Location: 6802 SW 81st St, Miami, FL, 33143

Peak 360 Fitness has been serving Miami since 2010, prepping countless athletes for “peak” performance.

Drop in to check out the training floor and even get a workout outside when the sun is out.

  • CrossFit and Sweat 360 classes are offered daily (except Sunday), with tons of Open Gym time available.
  • Drop-In Fees: 1 Day ($25), Weekly ($75). Head here to register in advance.

They will be hosting a range of special clinics and workouts, including: 

  • RAD Sling and send – Friday, January 24 at 8 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.
  • Skyhill Clinic – Friday, January 24 at 5 p.m.
  • Clinic with Chris Hinshaw 
  • Workout sponsored by RHO Supplements

If you are dropping in, remember to get to the gym about 15 minutes early so you can sign your waiver and meet the coach!
