Mike Sommerfeld has won the 2025 Arnold Classic Physique competition. This IFBB Professional League event was one of seven championships earned at the 2025 Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH, on Friday night, Feb. 28, 2025. He was the last of 12 men standing onstage victorious as the 2025 winner. This is his first Arnold Classic Physique championship.
Logan Franklin came in second place, and Matthew Greggo took third. The announced top six placings are below.

Winner — Mike Sommerfeld
Based on the final callout during pre-judging, the crowd knew either Franklin or Sommerfeld would win the title and the 2025 Classic Physique Olympia qualification. Franklin needed that, but Sommerfeld did not because since was the 2024 Olympia runner-up. Since Sommerfeld won the Arnold, no Olympia qualification was awarded.
Second Place — Logan Franklin
Franklin earned the title of best poser before the final awards were announced, leading some fans to think he may have actually won the title. He has until Sept. 14, 2025, to win a pro show and earn an Olympia qualification. He stands a strong chance of doing so based on how lean he was in Columbus.
Third Place — Matthew Greggo
Greggo has much to be proud of: he beat fourth-place finisher Michael Daboul and the 2024 Arnold champion Wesley Vissers, who ranked fifth. This momentum could serve Greggo well later in the season as he needs to win a pro show to reach the 2025 Olympia.

There is still a lot more action to come from Columbus. The finals of the Men’s Open, as well as the Bikini International, Arnold Classic Men’s Physique show, and the 2025 Arnold Pro Wheelchair, are all set for Saturday, March 1.
