How to Watch the 2018 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships (Plus Schedule)

We’re less than a day out from the 2018 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships.

This year’s Championships are being held in Calgary, Canada and are set to kick off June 6th, then run through June 17th.

This year, you can tune into the Championships from two locations, which we’ve linked below, and also embedded the stream below for your viewing pleasure. Keep in mind, the Championships are in Calgary, so their timezone is Mountain Standard Time, aka adjust your watch time accordingly.

To help you out we’ve included the full schedule for the next week and half of competition below. This way you can make calendar notes now for when to tune in and watch your favorite lifters!

Editor’s Note: The weight groups listed on the left are on platform 1, and the second group of lifters are on platform 2. 

June 6th

  • Session 1 Start Time: 9:00 – Women M2-M4 (47kg-52kg) & Men M4 (59kg-120k+)
  • Session 2 Start Time: 14:00 – Women M2-M4 (57kg) & Women M2-M4 (63kg)
  • Session 3 Start Time: 18:00 – Women M2-M4 (72kg) & Women M2-M4 (-84kg-84kg+)

June 7th

  • Session 1 Start Time: 9:00 – Men M3 (83k-120kg+) & Men M3 (59kg-74kg)
  • Session 2 Start Time: 15:00 – Men M2 (59kg-83kg)

June 8th

  • Session 1 Start Time: 8:00 – Men M2 (93kg-120kg+)
  • Session 2 Start Time: 14:00 – Men M1 (74kg-83kg) & Men M1 (59kg-66kg)
  • Session 3 Start Time: 18:00 – Women W1 (57kg-63kg) & Women M1 (47kg-52kg)
