The 2019 CrossFit National Champions are scheduled to be confirmed on May 1, CrossFit HQ announced. The verification process is currently underway and on Monday, CrossFit released an updated list of the top athletes based on penalties and score adjustments.
The CrossFit Open concluded last month on March 25, and since, CrossFit HQ has been busily working through a verification process.
What does this mean?
At the end of the CrossFit Open score submissions, which came after the five weeks of events, the top CrossFit athletes were required to submit videos of Open workouts 19.1 and 19.3 to have their scores verified. On Monday, the list released included adjustments to five of the top women and changes to six of the top men.
Below, we’ve included some of the most notable changes for a few of the top placing men and women athletes that appeared in CrossFit HQ’s announcement article. Check out CrossFit HQ’s official release if you’re interested in viewing the full announcement!
