Eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman and four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler competed against each other for the Sandow trophy for almost a decade in the early-to-mid 2000s. They were the top two athletes at the same Olympia on six occasions. Coleman defeated Cutler in four showdowns (2001, 2003, 2004, and 2005). Cutler won the final two matchups in 2006 and 2007.
Throughout the rivalry, and now that both men are retired from the competitive stage, they have been friendly and involved in their sport and still enjoy training. The bodybuilding legends joined YouTube personality Jesse James West for a back and biceps workout captured on video. The exact workout date is unclear, but Cutler’s caption mentioned that it was during the 2022 Olympia weekend in Las Vegas, NV, in December 2022.
West’s video was published on YouTube on Jan. 9, 2023, and Cutler posted a video on his channel as well. Cutler’s video is below:

The three men trained back and biceps together, a body part for which both champions were known. As a tribute to Cutler and Coleman, West brought headbands and sleeveless flannels for them to wear. Cutler was known for wearing a torn towel as a headband early in his career, and Coleman trained in a sleeveless flannel throughout most of his reign as Mr. Olympia.
After introductions, the workout began. They performed lat pulldowns, seated cable rows, single-arm machine rows, and alternating dumbbell biceps curls throughout the session. Not all sets and reps were shown, but Coleman said his sets scored as high as 20 reps. Cutler and Coleman also traded compliments and stories back and forth during the workout, giving fans and West a glimpse at what it was like behind the scenes during their active careers.

Cutler’s video had over 26,000 views in around 12 hours, while West’s video had over 757,000 views at the time of this article’s publication. Evidently, the fans are still interested in how the two legends train and live the bodybuilding lifestyle. After this session, both legends watched Hadi Choopan join them in the club of Mr. Olympia winners. 2022 Mr. Olympia Choopan is the 17th man to win the title.
