Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and Josh Bridges Appear In Super Bowl LV Commercial

February 8, 2021 by Phil Blechman

On Feb. 7, 2021, reigning four-time Fittest Woman on Earth® Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and five-time CrossFit Games veteran Josh Bridges appeared in an Oikos Pro yogurt commercial, which was was live-streamed (not on network television) during Super Bowl LV. The commercial, which touts the high-protein yogurt as a product that may appeal to athletes, pokes fun at the faces athletes make when grinding through heavy lifts — like back squats, bench presses, and muscle-ups — in the gym. Although the song (“Ugly Face” by Mizta CEO) that accompanied the commercial included the lyrics “Let me see you make that ugly face,” the social media hashtag that was paired with the product was #PROFACE.

Check out the video below from Oikos Yogurt’s YouTube channel. Bridges is seen grimacing while hoisting a loaded barbell overhead at the eight-second mark. Toomey appears towards the end at 24 seconds. The commercial also features America Ninja Warrior competitor Angela Gargano performing a pull-up at the 13-second mark:

The Super Bowl itself was a relatively one-sided affair as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cruised to a convincing victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The final score was 31 to 9. With that win, Tom Brady won his seventh Super Bowl ring.

Bridges recently launched a new podcast with Sevan Matossian and five-time Fittest Man on Earth® Mat Fraser, who recently announced his retirement from competitive CrossFit. The podcast does not yet appear to have an official name beyond their three names together — “Josh Mat Sevan.”

Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr

Toomey-Orr recently earned her first two official wins as a bobsledder for the Australian bobsled team. Competing as a brakewoman alongside pilot Ashleigh Werner, Toomey-Orr claimed victory twice in South Korea at the New Horizon races. Toomey-Orr’s goal in this new sport is to qualify for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.

Before then, Toomey-Orr will compete in the 2021 CrossFit Open which is scheduled to begin on March 11, 2021. Her performance in the Open has improved every year she has competed in it. Her fourth-place rank in 2020 was her best Open finish to date.
