The 2025 CrossFit Games are just over 100 days away and will be held for the first time on the East Coast in Albany, NY. Each summer since 2007, CrossFitters from around the world gather to watch and cheer as athletes and teams compete for the title of Fittest on Earth.
- In addition to all the action on the competition floor, CrossFit promotes the event to potential vendors, encouraging them to set up shop near the competition stage alongside well-known brands (and Games sponsors) like Rogue Fitness and YETI.
To promote the event to potential vendors, a slide deck has been created to offer insight into CrossFit’s plans for fans at the Games, how CrossFit compares as a brand to other in-person sporting events, and pricing details.
Key Takeaways
- CrossFit will host an “Owners and Coaches Conference” on July 30–31, prior to the Games.
- The “CrossFit Experience” returns with a 25,000-square-foot Vendor Village. CrossFit’s vendor deck notes that it will be “much more selective” about which vendor applications are approved due to size considerations.
- New this year, CrossFit will close Pearl Street for a free block party featuring major brand activations.
The Stage Is Set
The main stage for this year’s Games will be hosted at the MVP Arena, which CrossFit touts as having over 13,000 ticketed seats, making it the “largest in CrossFit Games history.”
- Tickets became available to the public on April 1, with presale access for previous Reliant Club members and Affiliates starting on March 25.
CrossFit’s vendor deck emphasizes that tickets for the 2024 Games at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth sold out in 4.5 hours. At the time of publication, Ticketmaster’s current ticket map of MVP Arena shows it to be at approximately 60-70% capacity, with 13 sections having 100+ tickets available. Most of those sections are located in the pricier lower level.
Based on the promotional information from CrossFit, it looks like all events will take place at MVP Arena from Friday, August 1, through Sunday, August 3. The two days before this year’s Games will include a “CrossFit Owners’ and Coaches Conference.”
Owner and Coaches Conference
CrossFit is hosting the CrossFit Owners and Coaches Conference, presented by Hustle Up (link requires login for CrossFit affiliate owners and coaches only).
The conference is advertised as a two-day affiliate event organized by CrossFit HQ at the Marriott Albany in New York from July 30-31.
- The price for this event is $299 for the first attendee and $199 for each additional attendee.
CrossFit’s conference description states that attendees can “expect to hear world-class speakers, presentations, and workshops within four general areas of focus: affiliate owner business development, coach development, health in the CrossFit space, and showcasing partner offerings.”
As part of the conference, CrossFit also provides discounts at the “Official Affiliate Hotel,” Marriott Albany, for both the conference and stays through the Games weekend. Hotel prices currently start at $199 per night.
The CrossFit Experience
“The CrossFit Experience” is back for 2025.
The Albany Capital Center will host the 25,000-square-foot retail and vendor space, which is a five-minute walk from MVP Arena via a covered walkway. CrossFit states that this area will feature a “Vendor Village” and many new experiential offerings for the fittest fans.
Once again, the CrossFit Experience is free to the public. A ticket for the Games inside MVP Arena is not required; however, similar to last year, registration may be necessary to access the free experience.
According to the map in the vendor deck, the CrossFit Retail space will be centrally located, offering three booth size options for vendors.
The map (which CrossFit reserves the right to change) indicates:
- Four booths measuring 10 feet x 30 feet.
- Ten booths measuring 10 feet x 20 feet.
- Fifteen booths measuring 10 feet x 10 feet.
We anticipate that CrossFit’s current sponsors, including Rogue Fitness and YETI, will also have a presence in the Experience area. It remains uncertain whether they will be located in one of the listed vendor booth spaces or at MVP Arena’s Block Party.
Pearl Street Block Party
CrossFit will close Pearl Street in front of MVP Arena during the Games weekend for a free public block party. The event will showcase large-format partner activations.
What’s Next for Vendors?
CrossFit clearly states that vendor space will be limited in 2025.
The vendor space at the Will Rogers Memorial Center next to Dickies Arena was approximately 100,000 square feet. This year, the space at the Albany Capital Center is only around 25,000 square feet, which is a quarter of that size.
- In the vendor deck, CrossFit states, “CrossFit will be much more selective on the applications we approve” and that “the earlier applications are submitted, the higher the likelihood of acceptance.”
So, if you are looking to secure a vendor space at the Games, there is no time like the present to submit your application.
Vendor pricing is based primarily on booth size:
- The smallest booth package (10 feet x 10 feet) costs $7,500.
- The medium-sized booth (10×20) costs $14,000.
- The largest booth package available (10×30) costs $20,500.
Each booth package specifies the booth size and includes additional vendor information, such as the number of vendor wristbands and the availability of internet and power hookups.
Vendors should also note the shipping and load-in/load-out requirements, as these are specific to this event and require agreements with preferred companies – Stak Studio for booth installation and ARK Transportation LTD for shipping and loading dock usage.
CrossFit’s vendor deck indicates that vendors who choose to manage their own load-in will have only a limited timeframe available. Vendors can expect to load in early Thursday afternoon and must be show-ready by the morning of Friday, August 1.
Vendor applications can be submitted here.
