2023 World’s Strongest Man Events Schedule Announced

Nick Best broke down the schedule on the "The Best Experiences" podcast.

The 2023 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) contest is scheduled for April 19-23, 2023, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Unlike the 100-plus degree summer heat of Sacramento, CA, which hosted the WSM contests for the past two years that have seen Tom Stoltman claim and defend the WSM title, Myrtle Beach’s springtime climate high-60s to low-70s should make for a more impressive competition as heat won’t be a limiting factor for the athletes.

The 2023 WSM’s structure is similar to years past — 30 athletes competing in a Qualifying stage comprised of groups, with 10 strongmen advancing to the Final. The Qualifying stage groups will compete on April 19-20, 2023, before a rest day on April 21 preps the athletes for the Final on April 22-23. Who’s in which group won’t be known until strongman Terry Hollands announces that on April 18 in front of a live Myrtle Beach crowd. But when each event will occur was announced by Nick Best on The Best Experiences podcast. Check it out in the YouTube video below:
