2024 Canada’s Strongest Man Results

The 2024 Canada’s Strongest Man (CSM) contest occurred on Aug. 25, 2024, in Saint-Pamphile, Canada. Thirteen of the country’s best strongmen clashed through six events: Max Deadlift, Truck Pull, Super Yoke, Overhead Medley, Sandbag Steeplechase, and Atlas Stones.

Gabriel Rhéaume stood atop the podium, scoring 67.5 of a possible 78 points. He was by silver-medalist James Jeffers and Wesley Derwinsky, who wore the bronze. The 2023 CSM champion, Simon Pratte, finished 12th.

  2. James Jeffers — 58 points
  3. Wesley Derwinsky — 57 points
  4. Colten Sloan — 56 points
  5. Tyler Sigurdson — 43 points
  6. Frédérick Rhéaume — 41 points
  7. Yanick Boucher — 38 points
  8. Samuel Daigle — 37.5 points
  9. Larson Hehr — 36 points
  10. Mathieu Poirier — 31.5 points
  11. Ben Court — 31 points
  12. Simon Pratte — 22.5 points
  13. Joey Lavallée — 16 points

Below are the results of each of the six events contested in Saint-Pamphile:

Max Deadlift

Each strongman established their max deadlift.

  1. Frédérick Rhéaume — 420 kilograms
  2. James Jeffers — 408 kilograms
  3. Yanick Boucher — 395 kilograms (T-third)
  4. Ben Court — 395 kilograms (T-third)
  5. Wesley Derwinsky — 376 kilograms
  6. Gabriel Rhéaume — 354 kilograms (T-sixth)
  7. Tyler Sigurdson — 354 kilograms (T-sixth)
  8. Colten Sloan — 336 kilograms (T-eighth)
  9. Larson Hehr — 336 kilograms (T-eighth)
  10. Mathieu Poirier — 336 kilograms (T-eighth)
  11. Samuel Daigle — no lift
  12. Simon Pratte — no lift
  13. Joey Lavallée — no lift

Truck Pull

Athletes attempted to pull the 23,000-kilogram vehicle 20 meters as quickly as possible.

  2. Wesley Derwinsky — 37.82 seconds
  3. Gabriel Rhéaume — 19.13 meters
  4. Colten Sloan — 19.02 meters
  5. Tyler Sigurdson — 18.14 meters

Each strongman attempted to traverse 20 meters with the 454-kilogram yoke as quickly as possible.

Overhead Medley

Athletes had 90 seconds to lift a 91-kilogram dumbbell, a 159-kilogram axle, a 166-kilogram log, and a 113-kilogram dumbbell.
