World Fitness Project Announces Locations, Dates for 2025 World Fitness Tour

Find out when and where you can watch the inaugural World Fitness Finals.

The World Fitness Project (WFP) has released the official dates and locations for the three in-person competitions that will comprise the inaugural season of the World Fitness Tour.

The Details

The first two events will take place in the United States, while the World Fitness Finals will go down across the pond in Europe.

  • Tour Event I – Indianapolis, IN, May 9-11, 2025
  • Tour Event II – Phoenix-Mesa, AZ, Aug 29-31, 2025
  • World Fitness Finals – Copenhagen, Denmark, Dec 18-21, 2025

Remind Me

The WFP was founded by CrossFit Games veteran Will Moored and Isabella and Jackson Terry, the co-founders of GoodLyfe. Their goal is to create “an ecosystem of the fitness world” through a new competitive tour that offers guaranteed financial contracts to their signed athletes.

  • This season, 20 men and 20 women will hold pro cards and compete against challengers hoping to earn a card by competing in various events on a season-long leaderboard.

Signed athletes will compete in two in-person events and the in-person World Fitness Finals (WFF) to hold their spot for 2026, while the challengers will compete to earn one of the available pro cards for 2026.

So far, the WFP has announced 34 of the 40 pro card athletes who will compete in 2025:

Men

  • Chandler Smith
  • Patrick Vellner
  • Jelle Hoste
  • Roman Khrennikov
  • Victor Hoffer
  • Justin Medeiros
  • Dallin Pepper
  • Jayson Hopper
  • Bjorgvin Karl Gudmundsson
  • Saxon Panchik
  • Ricky Garard
  • Jay Crouch
  • Gui Malheiros
  • James Sprague
  • Samuel Kwant
  • Luka Đukić
  • Jonne Koski

The Big Picture

Though there are still a lot of questions about how the 2025 CrossFit Games season and the World Fitness Tour will play out together, it’s looking as though many of the sport’s top athletes will not only compete considerably more this season than in recent years, and they will also be able to earn more money as professional athletes than in the past.

In this sense, the WFP has to be seen as a great thing for CrossFit.
