Classic Physique Athletes to Watch
Below are the early favorites in the Classic Physique division:
Camilo Diaz
Camilo Diaz has been grinding this season, and he will be entering his fifth show of 2023. His highest placing was third at the 2023 Mid-USA Pro. He is looking to make his second straight Olympia appearance, but he has to win a show to make that happen.
Julian Castano
Julian Castano has competed once this year. He was fourth at the 2023 Mid-USA Pro. He won the 2022 Argentina Sur Cup Pro, but he didn’t compete in the 2022 Classic Physique Olympia. He will represent the host country in this contest. None of the 20 men already qualified for the 2023 Classic Physique Olympia in this show represent Colombia. Castano can change that.
Joan Canngieter
Joan Canngieter is a second-year pro who switched to Classic Physique from the 212 division. He was ninth in his first contest, the 2023 Empro Pro. He could very well fare better in this lineup. A first callout is a possibility for the man from Aruba.

Bikini Division Athletes to Watch
Below are Bikini athletes making their season debuts to high expectations or athletes who have already displayed gold-worthy physiques in 2023.
Susana Aramayo
This will be Susana Aramayo’s first show of 2023. She was the 2022 Vancouver Pro winner, and she was one of the athletes in the lineup for the 2022 Bikini Olympia. She finished outside of the top 15. She was also in the 2020 Olympia but achieved the same result. A win in this show would make her eligible for her third Olympia.
Gessica Brun
Gessica Brun has placed second twice in 2023. She achieved those results at the Musclecontest Campinas Pro and the California Night of Champions. The 2019 Arnold Amateur South America winner is still looking for her first pro win and Olympia appearance. This show could be as good of an opportunity as she can have.
Priscila Rodrigues
This is Priscila Rodrigues’ fourth pro show of the season. She finished in the top five twice and 14th at the Dallas Pro. If she shows up as she did in either the Mile High Pro or the Musclecontest Campinas Pro, she could be in the first callout at this contest.
