2024 Sweden’s Strongest Man Results

Fredrik Johansson best nine contenders for the gold.

The 2024 Sweden’s Strongest Man (SSM) contest occurred on Oct. 19, 2024, in Malmö, Sweden. It featured 10 of the country’s premiere strongmen clashing in seven events: Farmer’s Walk, Log Lift, Deadlift, Loading Race, Tire Flip & Duck Walk Medley, Super Yoke, and Stone-Over-Bar.

Fredrik Johansson stood atop the podium, scoring 58 of a possible 70 points. He was joined by Cim Johansson in the silver position and Marcus Yngvesson wearing bronze.

  1. Fredrik Johansson — 58 points
  2. Cim Johansson — 53.5 points
  3. Marcus Yngvesson — 49 points
  4. Joachim Kvick — 47 points
  5. Anton Larsson — 39.5 points
  6. Fredrik Svensson — 32 points
  7. Anton Wasser — 30 points
  8. Jacob Larsson — 25 points
  9. Jonathan Partanen — 23 points
  10. Jonas Tinnerholm — 11 points (withdrew)

2024 Sweden’s Strongest Man Event Results

Below are the results for each of the seven events contested in Malmö:

Farmer’s Walk

Each athlete attempted to carry 155 kilograms down a 30-meter course within the 60-second time cap.

  1. Cim Johansson — 20.47 seconds
  2. Anton Larsson — 20.50 seconds
  3. Fredrik Johansson — 21.94 seconds
  4. Marcus Yngvesson — 20.81 seconds
  5. Jonas Tinnerholm — 28.44 seconds
  6. Joachim Kvick — 19.15 meters
  7. Fredrik Svensson — 15 meters
  8. Jonathan Partanen — 14.25 meters
  9. Jacob Larsson — 9.4 meters
  10. Anton Wasser — 3.85 meters

Log Lift

With 90 seconds on the clock, each strongman pressed 140 kilograms overhead for reps.

  1. Joachim Kvick — Seven reps (T-first)
  2. Anton Wasser — Seven reps (T-first)
  3. Jonathan Partanen — Six reps
  4. Fredrik Johansson — Five reps (T-fourth)
  5. Anton Larsson — Five reps (T-fourth)
  6. Jacob Larsson — Five reps (T-fourth)
  7. Cim Johansson — Four reps (T-fourth)
  8. Marcus Yngvesson — Three reps (T-eighth)
  9. Fredrik Svensson — Three reps (T-eighth)
  10. Jonas Tinnerholm — Three reps (T-eighth)

Deadlift

For one minute, athletes attempted to pull 340 kilograms for reps.

  1. Fredrik Johansson — Five reps
  2. Cim Johansson — Three reps (T-second)
  3. Anton Larsson — Three reps (T-second)
  4. Fredrik Svensson — Three reps (T-second)
  5. Marcus Yngvesson — One rep
  6. Joachim Kvick — no lift
  7. Anton Wasser — no lift
  8. Jacob Larsson — no lift
  9. Jonathan Partanen — no lift
  10. Jonas Tinnerholm — no lift

Loading Race

Each strongman was tasked to load four implements from 120 to 160 kilograms across eight meters within 90 seconds.

  1. Fredrik Johansson — Four in 35.92 seconds
  2. Cim Johansson — Four in 38.97 seconds
  3. Joachim Kvick — Four in 40.38 seconds
  4. Marcus Yngvesson — Four in 43.69 seconds
  5. Jonathan Partanen — Four in 55.88 seconds
  6. Anton Wasser — Four in 63.78 seconds
  7. Anton Larsson — Four in 76.9 seconds
  8. Fredrik Svensson — Three + 4.4 meters
  9. Jonas Tinnerholm — Three + three meters
  10. Jacob Larsson — Two + 5.65 meters

Tire Flip & Duck Walk Medley

The medley comprised a 460-kilogram tire flip and a 225-kilogram duck walk for time within 90 seconds.

  1. Joachim Kvick — 21.18 seconds
  2. Fredrik Johansson — 21.99 seconds
  3. Marcus Yngvesson — 22.3 seconds
  4. Fredrik Svensson — 23.22 seconds
  5. Anton Wasser — 24.25 seconds
  6. Cim Johansson — 24.4 seconds
  7. Anton Larsson — 25.66 seconds
  8. Jacob Larsson — 27.66 seconds
  9. Jonathan Partanen — 33.03 seconds
  10. Jonas Tinnerholm — One flip

Super Yoke

Strongmen traversed 15 meters with a 460-kilogram yoke in the fastest possible time.

  1. Fredrik Johansson — 29.56 seconds
  2. Cim Johansson — 17.85 seconds
  3. Marcus Yngvesson — 15.28 seconds
  4. Joachim Kvick — 29.12 seconds
  5. Anton Larsson — 12.15 meters
  6. Fredrik Svensson — 30.5 seconds
  7. Anton Wasser — 36.66 seconds
  8. Jacob Larsson — 13.22 seconds
  9. Jonathan Partanen — 8.2 meters
  10. Jonas Tinnerholm — withdrew

Stone-Over-Bar

With 90 seconds on the clock, each strongman loaded either 180 or 210 kilograms for reps. Any rep with the latter weight outranked any number of reps with the lighter weight.

  2. Marcus Yngvesson — 210 kilograms, 1.4 reps
  3. Cim Johansson — 210 kilograms, 1.3 reps
  4. Joachim Kvick — 180 kilograms, four reps (T-fourth)
  5. Anton Wasser — 180 kilograms, four reps (T-fourth)
  6. Anton Larsson — 180 kilograms, three reps (T-sixth)
  7. Fredrik Svensson — 180 kilograms, three reps (T-sixth)
  8. Jacob Larsson — 180 kilograms, two reps
  9. Jonathan Partanen — 180 kilograms, one rep
