2025 UK’s Strongest Man Results

Andrew Flynn scores gold in Nottingham!

The 2025 UK’s Strongest Man Contest occurred in Nottingham, England, on June 29, 2025. The single-day contest featured eight strongmen from England, Scotland, and Wales competing in five events: Max Car Squat, Tire Flip, Incline Log Press, Deadlift Ladder, and Loading Race.

2025 World’s Strongest Man (WSM) competitor Andrew Flynn scored the overall gold by 1.5 points over runner-up Chris Beetham. Flynn achieved 34.5 of a possible 40 points.

2025 UK’s Strongest Man Results

  1. Andrew Flynn (ENG) — 34.5 points
  2. Chris Beetham (SCO) — 33 points
  3. Paul Smith (ENG) — 32 points
  4. Dean Mason (ENG) — 25 points
  5. Jacob Brooke (WAL) — 19.5 points
  6. William Jones (WAL) — 13.5 points
  7. Jamie Nelson (WAL) — 10.5 points
  8. Scott Fraser (SCO) — Eight points

2025 UK’s Strongest Man Event Results

Below are the results for each event contested in Nottingham:

Max Car Squat

Athletes established their max squat.

  1. Paul Smith — 330 kilograms
  2. Andrew Flynn — 320 kilograms (T-second)
  3. Chris Beetham — 320 kilograms (T-second)
  4. Jacob Brooke — 320 kilograms (T-second)
  5. Dean Mason — 280 kilograms
  6. William Jones — 250 kilograms (T-sixth)
  7. Jamie Nelson — 250 kilograms (T-sixth)
  8. Scott Fraser — no lift

Tire Flip

Each strongman had 75 seconds to perform nine flips with a 350-kilogram tire as fast as they could.

  1. Andrew Flynn — 32.52 seconds
  2. Chris Beetham — 33.79 seconds
  3. Paul Smith — 35.84 seconds
  4. Jacob Brooke — 40.6 seconds
  5. Scott Fraser — 41.16 seconds
  6. William Jones — 41.88 seconds
  7. Dean Mason — 44.09 seconds
  8. Jamie Nelson — 45.92 seconds

Incline Log Press

Athletes had 75 seconds to press 150 kilograms for reps.

  1. Chris Beetham — 10 reps
  2. Dean Mason — Nine reps
  3. Paul Smith — Seven reps
  4. Andrew Flynn — Five reps (T-fourth)
  5. Jacob Brooke — Five reps (T-fourth)
  6. Jamie Nelson — Four reps
  7. William Jones — no lift
  8. Scott Fraser — no lift

Deadlift Ladder

Strongmen were given 75 seconds to deadlift six barbells weighing 280 to 380 kilograms in the fastest possible time.

  1. Andrew Flynn — Six in 69.28 seconds
  2. Dean Mason — Four in 58.46 seconds
  3. Paul Smith — Three in 14.88 seconds
  4. Chris Beetham — Three in 28.15 seconds
  5. William Jones — Three in 33.09 seconds
  6. Scott Fraser — Three in 36.75 seconds
  7. Jacob Brooke — Three in 38.37 seconds
  8. Jamie Nelson — Two in 26.89 seconds

Loading Race

Each strongman had 75 seconds to load five implements weighing 90 to 130 kilograms as fast as possible.

  1. Andrew Flynn — Five in 53.66 seconds
  2. Chris Beetham — Five in 59.87 seconds
  3. Paul Smith — Four in 45.39 seconds
  4. Dean Mason — Four in 51.93 seconds
  5. William Jones — Four in 56.9 seconds
  6. Jamie Nelson — Four in 59.47 seconds
  7. Jacob Brooke — Four in 64.43 seconds
  8. Scott Fraser — Three in 35 seconds
