The biggest weightlifting competition of the year is about to kick off in Turkmenistan and you’ll be able to watch the B Sessions and probably the A sessions from the comfort of your own home. Or on your phone. Or hold a viewing party at your gym, why not?
The events will be held from November 1st to November 10th in Ashgabat and according to the International Weightlifting Federation, the broadcast will be split up by the A and B sessions.
How to Watch the A Sessions
The A sessions will only be broadcast on television, not online, unless that country’s broadcaster also streams on their website. Here are the countries that have had a channel confirmed for broadcast.

How to Watch the B Sessions
The B sessions will be viewable online for anyone who wants to see them. Just head to www.ashgabat2018.com where they’ll be broadcast live. You can also head there to get the competition schedule so you can follow your favorite lifters and weight classes. (Unless it’s Ilya Ilyin or one of the 70-something athletes barred for not complying with doping controls.)
