The World’s Strongest Man returns to the United States this year after three years abroad, and next month the event will take off in Bradenton, Florida from June 13th through June 16th.
Earlier this month the World’s Strongest Man released the list of events set for the 2019 competition, subject to change. There will be five events in the qualification round and five events in the final.
On Thursday, the World’s Strongest Man released the locations for the qualifying and final rounds. The qualifying rounds will take place from June 13th through June 15th (Thursday to Saturday) and will be featured at three different locations in Bradenton, Florida. The final will be held on Sunday, June 16th.
Qualification Round
June 13: Old Main Street, Downtown Bradenton
June 14: Coquina Beach, Anna Maria Island
June 15: Manatee Public Beach, Anna Maria Island
There will be five different events in the qualification round and all of the groups will be doing the same five events, which is a change from years in the past.

Event 1: Truck Pull
Event 2: Super Yoke and Farmer’s Walk Medley
Event 3: Overhead Press
Event 4: Deadlift
Event 5: Last Man Standing
Final Round
June 16: Manatee Public Beach, Anna Maria Island
The final will be held on June 16th at Manatee Public Beach in Anna Maria Island. There will be five events in the final.

There has been plenty of build up to this year’s World’s Strongest Man. Will Hafthor Bjornsson hang on to his title? Bjornsson won the 2018 World’s Strongest Man followed by Mateusz Kieliszkowski winning silver, and Brian Shaw earning bronze. All three strongmen have been plenty busy in their training, from showing off truck pulls to racking up notable wins at the 2019 Arnold Strongman Classic.
With all of the events and locations now provided, now the only question remaining is who do you think will be crowned the 2019 World’s Strongest Man?
