Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son Joe Baena Shares Physique Update, Push Workout

Baena is a spitting image of his father, and his latest physique update proves it.

Joe Baena has big shoes to fill. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s youngest son has always borne a striking resemblance to his father; after years in the weight room, he’s looking the part as well.

  • Baena recently shared a physique update alongside content creator (and Schwarzenegger doppelgänger Joel Kellett, whose physique also looks eerily similar to that of a young Arnie.

We’ll also run through one of Baena’s favorite push workouts for his chest, shoulders, and triceps, so you too can look a little bit too much like the Austrian Oak himself.

Joe Baena Physique Update

Baena joined Kellett for a shirtless posing session at the iconic Gold’s Gym Venice Beach on Oct. 22, 2024. Sporting bulbous biceps and a pronounced v-taper, Baena has put his unparalleled bodybuilding genetics to good use over the years:

Schwarzenegger himself often visits “the Mecca,” one of the most famous gyms in the world. It comes as no surprise that Baena would show up, too — though, admittedly, Kellett gave him a run for his money in the, “who looks more like Arnie” department.

Baena, 27, has yet to step on a bodybuilding stage. He spends most of his time working in media and real estate, and graced the cover of Men’s Health magazine in 2022.

Joe Baena’s Go-To Push Workout

Now, the good stuff. Having the world’s most famous bodybuilder for a father can be a pile of pressure, but it seems like Baena knows how to channel his inner Schwarzenegger in the weight room.

“This is a very simple push workout if you’re just starting out,” said Baena back in September. He guarantees it’ll deliver a “classic, juicy pump.” See for yourself:

  • Incline Chest Press: 5 x 12
  • Dumbbell Bench Press: 4 x 10
  • Chest Flye: 4 x 10
  • Machine Dip: 4 x 15
  • Triceps Extension: 4 x 15

From the Pro: Baena noted that, on the incline presses, your first two sets should be ramp-ups to help you warm up. The first of four sets of the dumbbell bench press should also be a warm-up set.
