Peloton rose to fame with at-home spin-studio-like classes that could be taken with their connected spin bike — one of the best exercise bikes we’ve tested — or via their app. However, while the programming is top-notch, working up the courage to lay down a large sum of cash for a Peloton Bike or Treadmill, plus the cost of a subscription to the app, might be a barrier for some.

Our team of expert deal hunters have combed the corners of the web in an effort to bring you the best Peloton promo codes to use on exercise equipment, a Peloton app membership, and Peloton accessories and apparel from onepeloton.com.

There are a couple of ways to save money when shopping with Peloton. The brand offers a military, first responder, medical, and educator discount on equipment, plus you can earn apparel coupon codes through friend referrals.

How to Find a Peloton Promo Code (2024)

“Many treadmills [and bikes] come with large screens to stream fitness classes, such as Peloton… This smart [equipment] is more expensive, but the immersive component can keep you motivated to exercise. I wouldn’t call it a necessity, but it’s definitely a fun perk,” says BarBend expert reviewer, Amanda Capritto, CPT, CES, CNC, CF-L1, CSNC. Before taking the plunge and bringing home a Peloton Bike or Tread, checkout some ways to save below.

1. Peloton Military/First Responder/Healthcare/Educator Discounts

Active and retired members of the military, medical personnel such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, veterinarians, and veterinary assistants, first responders such as firefighters, EMTs, and police officers, and educators who teach K-12 or higher, are eligible for a Peloton coupon code. This discount provides up to $200 off Peloton accessories or accessory packages with the purchase of a Peloton Bike, Bike+, or Tread.

This discount can not be combined or bundled with other promotions such as referral codes. Additionally, the purchaser must be the military/medical/first responder/educator to be able to use the discount code.

To get access to this code, gather up some documents for verification such as pay stubs and ID cards. You can then chat with a member of the Sales Team by calling (866) 679-9129 and they will walk you through your next steps. SheerID will be used to verify your information.

2. Peloton Referral Credits

Why not reap the rewards when you’ve been gassing up your friend Cathy on Peloton being the best treadmill app and she finally decides to invest in a Peloton Tread? Through Peloton’s referral program, you can share a personal referral code that provides $100 off their purchase of hardware accessories when bought in conjunction with a hardware purchase. Once your referral code has been used, you’ll get $100 off apparel purchased online or in a Peloton showroom.

This code can be found in your rider profile’s settings page under the referrals tab. Once you receive your apparel voucher code, you’ll have six months to use it. While this voucher code can be used on sale items, it cannot be used with other offers or promotions, and you won’t be able to use it on gift cards or redeemed for cash. What’s more, you’ll also only be able to use this voucher once, so you won’t be able to split up your savings from one purchase to another.

3. Peloton Promotional Periods

In addition to holiday sales, Peloton promotional periods are a good time to save some dough on the gear you’ve been eyeing. While these promotion periods are a mystery, who knows when they’ll pop up and how much they’ll save you, a member of the sales team told us that sometimes Peloton has up to one promotional period a month.

4. Peloton Corporate Wellness

Different companies can set up different types of contracts with Peloton, so it’s worth checking in with your hiring team to see if you can score special pricing on equipment and accessories. When speaking with a sales representative, we were told these discounts tend to range between $100 and $300 depending on the company.

5. DICK’s Sporting Goods Peloton App Trial

New Peloton members can get a free 6-day trial of the Peloton App One membership through DICK’s Sporting Goods. However, you’ll need to be a first-time Peloton member. To redeem this offer, visit a DICK’s Sporting Goods retailer or check their website at dickssportinggoods.com.

When Do Peloton Brand Products Go On Sale?

Peloton often offers promotional periods found on the Peloton website. However, we’ve found that often the best time to bring home new cardio machines or strength training equipment is around major holidays. Check out our holiday sales pages below to find some of the best coupons and discounts available.

Why Choose Peloton?

Peloton is tried and tested, with over 6 million members subscribing to their content from their mobile device or with connected equipment. The Peloton Tread, Bike, and Bike+ are popular because they give users easy and convenient access to top-level classes, aimed at keeping your heart rate and mood elevated.

This equipment doesn’t come cheap, and you’ll need to factor in your subscription to the app in addition to the cost of the equipment. While many of the available Peloton discount codes are only useful on savings on Peloton apparel and accessories, be sure to check on social media and their website for promotional periods where you may score a limited time deal on new Peloton equipment.
