After four days of mayhem in Madison, Wisconsin, for the 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games, how could we possibly be done talking about CrossFit?
Now that the 2019 CrossFit Games season is officially in the books, dates are beginning to trickle in for the (remainder of 2019) through 2020 season. The first 2020 Open workout will be announced on October 10th, The Morning Chalkup and Armen Hammer first reported.
Following this year’s format, the 2019-2020 season will also include Sanctionals™ events. Next year there will be a total of 28 Sanctionals™, and the action will kick-off in November, 2019, with the CrossFit Filthy 150 in Dublin, Ireland.

The 2019 CrossFit season included all types of curve balls. We saw a new qualifying format, major cuts at the 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games, and more. The excitement for the 2020 season is at an all-time high at the moment, with Mat Fraser becoming the Fittest Man on Earth for the fourth time, and Tia-Clair Toomey becoming the Fittest Woman on Earth for the historic third time.
We will continue to update you once the 2019-2020 CrossFit season gets underway, but for now, stay tuned for the first Open workout announcement on October 10th.
