Tom Stoltman is your 2021 World’s Strongest Man. After a back and forth battle, Stoltman emerged victorious with 45.5 total points. Brian Shaw got second with 42.5 points and Maxime Boudreault got third with 36.5 points. With this win, Stoltman becomes Scotland’s first-ever WSM champion. Here are the final placings:

Log Lift Results
The first event of the final day was the Log Lift. Each competitor was allowed to lift the following weight in each round to advance to the next. Not so surprisingly, Luke Stoltman, who holds the British Log Lift record, won the event with a 474-pound press. Trey Mitchell, Bobby Thompson, and Maxime Boudreault tied for second. Notably, Tom Stoltman, who still lead the day after this event, got 2.5 points.

KNAACK Deadlift Results
Athletes had to lift 345 kilograms (760 pounds) for max reps in one minute. Each barbell supported giant KNAACK toolboxes on each end. The temperature at the start of the event was 84 degrees.
First place was a three-way tie between Adam Bishop, JF Caron, and Trey Mitchell. Brian Shaw tied for second with nine reps, and Tom Stoltman logged eight reps to place in the middle of the pack.

Atlas Stones Results
The Atlas Stones event was made up of five stones of ascending weight from 310 to 465 pounds. Each competitor raced to load all five stones onto pedestals in the fastest time possible. Of course, Tom Stoltman is a stone specialist, and so it was almost a lock (of course you can never count out Shaw. Maxime Boudreault also put on an impressive performance, getting second, by loading all five stones eight seconds behind Tom. Bobby Thompson, who was in ninth place before the event took place withdrew.
