2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games Age Group Division Results — Fittest Teens and Masters Athletes
The sun was shining on Thursday, Aug. 4 for the opening day of competition for the Age Group Divisions at the 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games. The Age Group events kicked off with running — not necessarily the easiest in muddy conditions after the downpours and storms on Aug. 3. Bad weather didn’t slow down the teenagers that kicked off their Games campaigns on Thursday morning, and the field across all age brackets remained competitive through the weekend.
Podium positions were rarely static, with plenty of shake-ups happening throughout the Games. Saturday — the final day of the Games for Age Group and Adaptive athletes — saw fierce battles for podium positions. While many of the top positions were already locked up, fierce fights took place for second and third.
On the morning of Day Three, Ka’eo Subiono in the Boys’ 14-15 division made his 100-pound sandbag look like nothing as he sprinted down the field to start off Carrying Karen. His outrageously quick movement ended up bagging him a third-place finish.

In the same division, Yousef Diab fought his way toward the podium with a second-place finish in the Final Sprint and landed himself third place overall. And in the Girls’ 14-15, Abigail Moore crushed Carrying Karen, going unbroken on the wall balls. She remarked in a post-event interview that the loaded carries felt light.
Elder Subiono brother Elijah spent his Saturday fighting it out in the Boys’ 16-17 Division against Caleb McClure. Elijah didn’t do as well as his younger brother in Carrying Karen, but rocketed to third place in Rinse ‘N’ Repeat. Ultimately, Elijah Subiono finished in third-place overall after a third-place finish in the Final Sprint.
In the same event for the Girls’ 17-18, Olivia Kerstetter continued her absolute domination of her division with her third first-place finish — she never ranked lower than third at any point, and confidently took home the title of Fittest.

For the Masters’ athletes, Chyna Cho won first place in 3 out of 8 events in Women’s 35-39 bracket, including Saturday’s Rinse ‘N’ Repeat, securing her third place overall. In the Women’s 50-54, Tea Gebbie used the final day of competition to fight her way back from two ninth-place finishes earlier in the week, securing first place in two of the final day’s events. Those victories landed Gebbie on the podium in second place overall.

The Games Conclude
The 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games are sure to end just as spectacularly as they began. With the Age Group and Adaptive divisions wrapped up, fans and spectators are likely to turn their eyes toward the final few Individual and Team events on Sunday, Aug. 7.
Will five-time Fittest Woman on Earth Tia-Clair Toomey claim her sixth Individual title and become the most dominant CrossFit athlete in Games history? Among the men, defending champion and leader Justin Medeiros is narrowly fending off dark horse Ricky Garard.
How the Games will culminate is anyone’s guess, but BarBend is committed to bringing the action in Madison right to you. Stay tuned to the official Results & Leaderboard page.
