Rapper and chef Action Bronson (whose real name is Ariyan Arslani) has been taking life into his own hands as of late. First, he revealed a stunning 127-pound weight loss in November of 2020, which he achieved through a stricter diet and hard training. Now, he’s taken back his hit YouTube show, F*ck That’s Delicious, and produced the first episode of season five on his own.
The episode, which premiered on March 17, 2021, features the 37-year old powering through his now-regular workout routine and then cooking up stuffed calamari for his trainer in the gym’s parking lot. You can check out the full episode below:

Episode one of F*ck That’s Delicious premiered on the Munchies YouTube channel (a food-focused brand owned by VICE) in May 2014. In 2018, during an interview with Complex, Bronson announced he was “unofficially” parting ways with Vice. Bronson alluded to feeling creatively stifled, underpaid, and underappreciated. According to IMDb, season four of the show appeared on Viceland in the summer of 2020. However, it seems that Mr. Baklava got his wish. Season five of the hit series was produced independently and was launched on Action Bronson’s YouTube channel.
In the past, F*ck That’s Delicious featured Bronson and his loveable gang of misfits indulgently sampling cuisine in different cities. But, just like Bronson, season five has experienced a bit of a transformation. The opening credits feature a much slimmer Bronson performing medicine ball slams and then cut to him driving to his local gym. He’s then joking around with his trainer, Dave Paladino, while performing a shoulder warm-up with a resistance band and a power rack.
I love intensity. I like pushing my body past the limits. I like achieving.
Then, Bronson — who is shown carrying three liters of water filled with pre-workout and other powders — gets into the meat of his workout. He starts with sets on the ski erg and standard erg rower. He then grabs a pair of TRX handles and performs inverted rows. It’s no secret that Bronson is a strongman fan and likes to perform movements such as battle rope slams, slam ball slams, tire flips, weighted push-ups in a high-intensity circuit. At the end of the workout, Bronson reminds viewers that you need to “strangle your inner bitch.”

After a tough workout, Bronson takes Paladino to the parking lot and unpacks a charcoal grill and homemade stuffed calamari (or squid). The prolific chef hand-stuffed the calamari himself with pearl couscous, golden raisins, garlic, parsley, and onions. Then he chars them over a “Japanese wood” and tops the dish with homemade tomato sauce and glugs of olive oil.
This new F*ck That’s Delicious has all the elements of the old version — food, rap, and plenty of jokes — but infused with elements of his new lifestyle. There’s no word yet when episode two will air, but Bronson certainly has his audience where he wants them — amped up, motivated, and hungry.
