Strongman athletes who compete in lighter weight categories have a lot to look forward to in 2022. U.S. Army veteran and a two-time World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Under 105-kilograms Anthony Fuhrman took to his Instagram page on Nov. 18, 2021, to announce that 2022 will be the inaugural year for the Strengthlete Collective’s Clash of the 90s Place at the Table strongman contest. It will feature elite 90-kilogram strongmen and, per Fuhrman, it will be the “first-ever American 90-kilogram pro show.”

While no specific date or location has yet been announced, the Clash of the 90s contest is scheduled for August 2022. Additionally, a similar contest titled Clash of the 80s Place at the Table will also be held sometime in 2022 and feature 80-kilogram strongmen.
