Each week we are blown away by all of the impressive lifts we see. These massive lifts come from athletes across all strength sports and can range from a stellar training personal bests to world record lifts on competition platforms. For the week of September 15th through September 21st, we compiled five big lifts that seriously fired us up, and that you don’t want to miss.
It’s worth noting that these are only five of the big lifts that went down last week, so with that in mind, take a look at what some of the biggest names across all of strength sports pulled off!

5. Dan Green, Powerlifter
Dan Green is a powerlifter out of Boss Barbell Club in California and in his latest video he pulled 727 lbs/330kg on a stiff bar for a 7-rep deadlift PR.
4. Cailer Woolam, Powerlifter
Cailer Woolam recently pulled 425kg/937 lb with a strong lockout. This massive pull wasn’t long after he had us excited over his smooth 415kg/915 lb deadlift!
3. Lasha Talakhadze, Weightlifter
In the training hall ahead of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Weightlifting Championships, Lasha Talakhadze pulled off an insane 140kg/308 lbs muscle snatch for one rep.
2. Russel Orhii, Powerlifter
Russel Orhii has us seriously stoked for USAPL Raw Nationals in October. The -83kg powerlifter recently squatted 324kg/715 lbs and it was moving easy!
1. Om Yun Chol, Weightlifter
World record alert! Weightlifter Om Yun Chol (55kg) snagged the first spot this week with a huge 166kg/366 lb clean & jerk at the IWF World Weightlifting Championships. This clean & jerk was not only triple his bodyweight, but it was also good enough to break his own clean & jerk world record and win him a gold medal.
