If you subscribe to the cold water craze, BarBend expert contributor and certified personal trainer Amanda Capritto gets it. She notes that you may find some relief for sore muscles and reduce inflammation. However, “Cold plunge tubs are not cheap… Even the budget-friendly models will run you several hundred to a couple thousand dollars, and the highest-end models cost several thousand,” she says.

The Cold Pod — one of the best cold plunges we’ve come across — says, “nuh-uh” to ice baths and chillers costing a small fortune. And to help you save even more from this budget-friendly brand, we’ve gathered up the best The Cold Pod discount codes so you can save money while you focus on recovery.

How to Find The Cold Pod Discount Code (2024)

After chilling in 10 of the most popular cold water immersion tubs on the market, we got to work rounding up the best routes to save some cash at checkout. The following are the best ways to find The Cold Pod vouchers, deals, and discounts.

1. The Cold Pod Affiliate Program

If you’re active on social media or you just want to talk up how much you love your portable ice bath from the brand, you can earn a 10% commission on sales when you become an affiliate. To register, fill out this form with your name and email to receive your own unique code.

Once you’ve begun accruing commissions, payment occurs on the 1st and 15th of every month. To receive this payment, you’ll also need to set up a PayPal account.

2. The Cold Pod Coupon Websites and Affiliate Codes

Coupon websites like RetailMeNot, DealsPlus, TenereTeam, and HotDeals are worthwhile places to look for promo codes and current The Cold Pod offers. While the codes listed on these sites may be expired or over their use limit — rendering them invalid — if you do some digging, you just may find one that works. I spent just 2 minutes perusing these sites and found a cold pod coupon code that worked for 10% off my order.

You can also browse social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube in search of affiliate codes that can be used for sitewide discounts. Affiliates often place their affiliate links in their bios or provide unique discount codes on individual postings related to their experience using The Cold Pod products.

3. The Cold Pod Shipping

The brand offers free mainland UK delivery on orders over £60. However, for those of us living elsewhere, shipping and handling will be calculated at checkout. Be warned, when I tried out a California address, the shipping total came out to an additional $57 when purchasing The Cold Pod from thecoldpod.com.

However, many of the brand’s products are offered on Amazon, where Prime members can score free (and quick) shipping and delivery, so you can start reaping ice bath benefits without severely denting your wallet with shipping costs.

4. The Cold Pod Clearance Markdowns

While you won’t find a dedicated clearance section, many of the bathtubs and containers feature a discounted price on The Cold Pod website. At the time of this writing, these select items are discounted between 20- and 42% off the regular price. Accessories don’t currently feature these sale prices, but you may find offered discount options in the portable ice baths and elite range tabs. These discounts are featured in a red block beside eligible products.

When Do The Cold Pod Products Go On Sale?

The holidays are the best time of year to find verified discounts on your cold water therapy tools. To help you navigate upcoming sales, we’ve rounded up super savings from top brands based on the upcoming holiday.

One of the less expensive cold plunges on the market, this tub costs less than $200. It's also available on Amazon Prime, so you can have it at your door in a matter of days.

“This affordable ice bath is super easy to move around,” says our tester, a certified personal trainer. “I don’t love that I have to fill it with ice, but using the insulated cover, which is available for an additional fee, allowed me to keep the water cool for longer.”

This tub is fully insulated and is chiller compatible with water inlet and outlet valves so you can connect a filter or chiller to keep your water fresh and cool. You'll also find a thermo lid which helps to lock in your water's temperature.

The Cold Pod Elite Lite

If you like the compactness of The Cold Pod but want a more high-quality and efficient means of taking an icy dip to support muscle recovery, The Cold Pod Elite Lite provides. This Elite bath is compatible with chillers and filtration, so you can flip a switch to lower your water temperature (without the need to run to the store for a bag of ice).

Why Choose The Cold Pod

The Cold Pod brand features portable and smaller-footprint cold tubs for those with limited space, or interested in taking their recovery on the go. Unlike more high-end cold plunge tubs, The Cold Pod’s offerings feature inflatable walls that are both lighter weight and easier to transport.

“…Cold plunge tubs are a good fit for advanced exercisers and athletes who are looking for a ‘cherry on top’ sort of item to further enhance their lifestyle,” says BarBend expert contributor and certified personal trainer Amanda Capritto. If you’re looking for that extra support for your training, use one of these The Cold Pod discount codes and deals to bring home a cold plunge that suits your wallet, space, and goals.
