2024 EPF European Equipped Powerlifting Championships Results

The contest was held in Hamm, Luxembourg.

The European Powerlifting Federation (EPF) held its 2024 European Equipped Powerlifting Championships in Hamm, Luxembourg, from May 10-12, 2024, and Team Ukraine dominated.

Ukraine collected seven gold, four silver, and one bronze medal. They won the team awards for men and women. Ukrainian athletes also secured the best lifters awards: Volodymyr Rysiyev for the men and Larysa Soloviova for the women.

  • Sofiane Belkesir (France) — Masters 1 (age 40 – 49) world records in squat (425 kilograms) and total (1057.5 kilograms) in the 120KG class
  • Zuzanna Kula (Poland) — open bench press world record — 166 kilograms in the 57KG class 
  • Viktor Leskovets (Ukraine) — open bench press world record — 325.5 kilograms in the 105KG class
  • Daria Rusanenko (Ukraine) — junior squat world record — 278.5 kilograms in the 84KG class
  • Volodymyr Rysiyev (Ukraine) — Masters 1 world records in squat (392.5 kilograms), bench press (307.5 kilograms) and total (1027.5 kilograms)
  • Karen Thrige Andersen (Denmark) — open squat world record — 279 kilograms in the 84KG class

The entire event can be watched on the EPF YouTube channel. The next event in the EPF calendar is the 2024 European Bench Press Championships, which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from Aug. 5-11, 2024.
