The 2022 Sweden’s Strongest Man contest took place on Nov. 5, 2022, in Växjö, Sweden. Ten of the nation’s top athletes converged to compete across six events to earn the title of their country’s strongest man.
After those six events — Max Log Lift, Frame Carry, Deadlift, Car Walk, Dumbbell Medley, and Natural Stones — Andreas Ståhlberg emerged victorious over his nine countrymen to claim the crown with 46.5 points out of a possible 60.

Max Log Lift
This was a typical Max Log Lift event, with each strongman lifting the same weight each round. The heaviest press was awarded first-place points, and only Kvick was locked out 190 kilograms.

Frame Carry
The Frame Carry was 370 kilograms, and athletes had 60 seconds to traverse the 30-meter course in the fastest time possible. Ultimately, no one on the roster crossed the finish line, but Ståhlberg traveled the farthest.

Car Walk
The Car Walk tasted each strongman to move the 350-kilogram vehicle down the 15-meter course in the fastest time possible, with a 60-second time cap. The majority of the roster blitzed the course, with Hansson winning with a 14-second run.

The Dumbbell Medley consisted of five dumbbells ranging from 70 to 110 kilograms. None of the athletes converted all five dumbbells, but Kvick scored four in sub-30 seconds to claim first place.

The Natural Stones event only involved three implements. They ranged from 140 to 175 kilograms, and athletes had a time cap of 90-seconds. Only Ståhlberg converted all three stones to win the event and the contest.
